"Under-construction"

University of Southern California, School of Architecture

Spring 2018

[Digital drawings and wood models]

The transformation of an existing Sawtooth shed into a flexible four- classroom kindergarten after studying and projecting Frank Gehry’s Norton House in Los Angeles. The transformation exposes the residence as if it were under construction, changing the entire atmosphere of each space. With the analysis and material property explorations, part of the shed’s structure was revealed and a space for teaching and learning was designed.
