"Under-Construction"
Spring 2020 | University of Southern California, School of Architecture
Project Overview
The transformation of a Sawtooth shed into a flexible four-classroom kindergarten after studying Frank Gehry’s “unfinished” aesthetics in the Norton House. The transformation exposes the residence as if it were under construction, changing the entire atmosphere of each space. With the analysis and material property explorations, part of the shed’s structure was revealed and space for teaching and learning was designed.
